Coach Dillard was named the head coach of the Warrior Wrestling Program for the 2024-2025 season. 

Coach Dillard has been involved in coaching Wrestling since 2014.  He has coached at both Harrison and North Cobb High Schools.  In 1998 he was a member of the GHSA State Championship Team at McEachern High School and also earned 5th place at the 2000 GHSA AAAA State tournament at 285 lbs.

Coach Jeffrey Bettis has been involved in coaching wrestling since 1995.  He has been the head coach at Paulding County High School, Hiram High School, and Kennesaw Mountain High School.  He was North Cobb's Head Coach beginning in  2017 until his retirement in May of 2024.   Coach Bettis was named  Cobb County Wrestling Association – Coach of the Year for the 2021-2022 School year and in 2023, Coach Bettis was inducted into the Cobb County Wrestling Association Hall of Fame.  He continues to grow the program for both male and female athletes and has decided to return to the program as a community coach. 

Coach Longacre is a graduate of North Cobb HS. He has a bachelor's in special education from Point University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and this is his 3rd year teaching and coaching. He spent 2 years at Allatoona, and this is 1st year back at North Cobb. During his tenure at Allatoona, Coach Longacre had coached a state champion who was Allatoona's first ever female state champion wrestler. To add on, he assisted the boys team to reach the state dual tournament for the first time since 2017.  In high school, Coach Longacre competed in football, wrestling, and lacrosse, and he continued to compete in football in college. He was a four-year collegiate starter on the offensive line, a two-time Academic All-American, three-time Academic All-Conference, 1st Team Mid-South Conference offensive lineman, 2022 Mid-South Conference Champions of Character Award Winner, and an Offensive Rising Star as a freshman at Point University. Prior to that, at North Cobb, he was a two-year varsity starter, was 1st Team All Region, and 2nd Team All County his senior year in football. He was a four-year varsity wrestler, a state qualifier senior year, and a two-time region placer. He was a varsity letterman in lacrosse as a freshman.

Coach Longacre is the son of Marlon and Libby Longacre, and he has two brothers, Todd and Matthew, and one niece, Emma Grace. He finds inspiration from Lou Holtz, who said: “If you’re bored with life – you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things – you don’t have enough goals.

Coach Blessington hails from the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, where he developed his passion for sports early on. A dual-sport athlete at Ursinus College, he played both football and lacrosse, laying the foundation for his long and successful coaching career. With over 26 years of coaching experience, Coach Blessington has dedicated the last 14 years to coaching football, baseball, and lacrosse, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to developing young athletes. Before joining North Cobb High School, he served as the Head Coach at Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach, FL, for eight years, where he made a significant impact on the program. In 2021, Coach Blessington relocated to Georgia to take on the role of Special Teams and Safeties Coach for Warrior Football, and he has also taken on the role of Assistant Wrestling Coach at North Cobb. His extensive experience and leadership continue to be invaluable assets to the North Cobb athletic community.

Coach Ezzell is joining the Wrestling coaching squad in hopes of growing our girls program.  She is currently an assistant softball and former head coach of the girls lacrosse program. She is looking forward to making an impact on the wrestling team.
