Coach VK joined the NCHS Boys Lacrosse Staff in 2019 as an Assistant Coach. He was named Head Coach prior to the start of the 2021 Fall Season. He has brought valuable experience to the staff having played 4 years of High School Lacrosse locally at Kell, followed by 4 years collegiately at Division II Shorter College in Rome, GA where he also coached as an assistant for 2 years. Coach VK has led North Cobb to the Playoffs the last 3 seasons and in 2023 made it to North Cobb's first ever appearance in the quarterfinals.

Coach Almy joined the NCHS Boys Lacrosse program in 2007 as an Assistant Coach, bringing passion and expertise to the team. In 2017, he was promoted to Head Coach, where he led the team to back-to-back State Playoff appearances in his first two seasons. His leadership and strategic vision were instrumental in the program's success. Although he stepped down as Head Coach in 2020, Coach Almy's dedication to the team never wavered, as he continued to serve as an invaluable Assistant Coach. His unwavering commitment and deep understanding of the game have been key in guiding the program through its transitions.

When not coaching, he and his wife, Becca like to go hiking with their dogs.

Coach Blessington hails from the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, where he developed his passion for sports early on. A dual-sport athlete at Ursinus College, he played both football and lacrosse, laying the foundation for his long and successful coaching career. With over 26 years of coaching experience, Coach Blessington has dedicated the last 14 years to coaching football, baseball, and lacrosse, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to developing young athletes. Before joining North Cobb High School, he served as the Head Coach at Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach, FL, for eight years, where he made a significant impact on the program. In 2021, Coach Blessington relocated to Georgia to take on the role of Special Teams and Safeties Coach for Warrior Football, and he has also taken on the role of Assistant Wrestling Coach at North Cobb. His extensive experience and leadership continue to be invaluable assets to the North Cobb athletic community.

Coach DeSanctis, a Long Island, New York native, grew up immersed in the sport of lacrosse. He played four years of Division III lacrosse at Elmira College, where he earned All-American honors as a Defenseman from 1990 to 1992. After relocating to Georgia in 2003, Coach DeSanctis contributed his expertise to the lacrosse programs at Pope Pius X and Meadowcreek High Schools. Since joining our staff in 2020, he has been a key asset, bringing invaluable defensive insights that have significantly strengthened our team.

Coach Price has been a vital part of the staff for the past eight years, serving as the Offensive Coordinator since the 2017 season. Beyond his role at North Cobb, he is the Director of Operations for Elite Lacrosse Tournaments, where he brings his expertise to a broader stage. A standout athlete from McIntosh High School, Coach Price led the state of Georgia in scoring, earned All-State honors as an Attackman, and was named to ESPN's Top 200 recruits list. He received a scholarship to play at the University of Tampa, later competed at Young Harris, and ultimately graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2017.

Ben Biesecker- As the Player Development Coach, Choach Ben is dedicated to fostering the character of our lacrosse players. With a deep commitment to shaping well-rounded athletes, he emphasizes values such as integrity, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the field. He brings a unique perspective to our program, drawing from his experience as the Youth & Young Adult Pastor at The Grove Church. His passion for mentoring young people and guiding them through their formative years has made him an invaluable asset to our team, as he helps our players grow into exceptional athletes and outstanding individuals.
