Congratulations to freshman Jasmine Robinson who broke the school record on her way to becoming 7A state champion in the 300 hurdles and also being 4th in 100 hurdles and 4th in long jump.  An amazing year.

Congratulations to Keira for finishing second at 7A GA state championships in the 100 and 7th in the 200, breaking the school 100 dash record 8 times and the 200 dash record three times!

Coach Chad Talley took over the track program in 2022 after joining North Cobb in 2018.  He has enjoyed successful tenures in track and soccer at two schools in Mississippi that led to 4 regional titles, 3 sectional titles, 3 state runner-ups and 2 state championships. 

Coach Talley has helped over sixty athletes reach the state championship finals in track with 35 individual and relay state champions, including 3 all-time record bests at the MAIS state championship track meet and a NCAA All American.  He has been an MEC star teacher and MAIS coach of the year and is excited about building North Cobb into a track powerhouse.

Chad Talley has completed the Teach Mississippi Institute certification from Ole Miss and the Education Leadership Institute from the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools.  He holds national certification from USATF and USTFCCCA, has a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi College and a Master of Education from Delta State University.

Coach Huff coaches the distance runners and has been the Warriors' Head Cross Country Coach since 2016.  He was an assistant coach as far back as 2006.  

Coach Huff earned his teaching degree from Georgia Southern University followed by a Masters in Adolescent Math Education from Kennesaw State University.  He currently teaches Geometry and Algebra at NCHS.    

When he's not in the classroom or running with his team, Coach Huff can be found traveling with his family.  So far they have visited 45 of the 50 United States.
