Mike Turchan has been the Head Coach of the Lady Warriors Softball program since 2020. Coach Turchan is from Mayfield Heights, Ohio (Cleveland). At Mayfield High Coach Turchan played soccer, baseball, and served as a place kicker for the Wildcats. In his senior year he was named Cuyahoga County Player of the Year (baseball) and earned All-State honors in football and baseball.  Coach Turchan was inducted into Mayfield's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.  

Coach Turchan continued his education and baseball career at Baldwin Wallace College. While majoring in Physical Education, Fitness Management, and Athletic training, Turchan was a third baseman/pitcher for the Yellow Jackets. In his junior and senior years, he was named team captain and was selected to the Ohio Athletic Conference and Mid-East Regional 1st teams. In his senior year, Coach Turchan was tabbed as an ESPN 2nd team Academic All-American. After receiving an invite to tryout with the San Diego Padres in 2005, Turchan became a student assistant coach for Baldwin Wallace in 2006. Coach Turchan was recently inducted into the Baldwin Wallace Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020 .

Coach Turchan has been in education since 2006 with all those years being a Warrior at North Cobb. During that time he has earned his Masters and Specialist degree. He is currently the Head of Department for Health and Physical Education, teaches Physical Conditioning, and is an assistant coach for the Warrior Baseball program. Coach Turchan is an online instructor for Cobb Virtual Academy and taught at Kennesaw State University for four years as an adjunct professor in the Health Promotion and Physical Education department.

Outside of work Coach Turchan’s hobbies include staying active, traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, and rooting for his sports teams (Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Indians, and Ohio State Buckeyes). Coach Turchan is the son of Douglas and Linda Turchan, has one brother Nick, and two amazing nephews Nicky and Sam.

Coach Arnaud has been an assistant Warriors' Softball coach since 2020.  Prior to that she was a Community Coach for the Warriors and has volunteered  with Georgia Academy Power, a travel team, and with Cobb Horizon Field, a special needs baseball program.   She has also been the Head Coach of our Flag Football team since 2021.

Coach Arnaud got her teaching degree from Reinhardt University in Sports Administration and is currently pursuing her Masters degree at Georgia Southern University.  She has been a General PE and Team Sports  teacher at North Cobb High School since 2020.  

When she's not in the classroom, Coach Arnaud can be found spending time with family and her pups Red, Darla, and Ali.

Coach Ezzell has been an assistant Warriors' Softball coach since 2013 and has also served as the Head Girls Lacrosse coach in the past.  

Coach Ezzell earned her teaching degree at the University of Georgia and her Masters in Education from the University of West Georgia.  She has been a teacher at North Cobb High School since 2000.  

When she's not in the classroom Coach Ezzell can be found kayaking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family.

Coach Pannell has been coaching the JV Lady Warriors Softball team since 2016 and has been in education since 2008, and a Warrior since 2009.  He is from Powder Springs, Georgia, where he lives with his Wife (Cindy), Daughter (Isabella), and two dogs (Wellington and Nova).

At North Cobb Coach Pannell is part of the Social Studies Department.  He retired as the Head Boys Soccer Coach in 2021 after 12 years with the program.  Coach Pannell also has experience as a Warrior Football Coach as a Special Teams Coach. Coach Pannell is currently one of the Faculty Advisors for our nationally ranked Model United Nations Program and also a Faculty Advisor for our Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club.

Coach Pannell graduated from McEachern High School in 1983 where he played Football and Soccer.  Following High School Coach Pannell attended the University of Georgia, and Kennesaw State University, where received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Valdosta State University, where he received his Master’s Degree.

Coach Pannell is a Veteran of the U. S. Army with 18 years of service (8 active duty, 10 reserve). While on active duty Coach Pannell continued to play soccer on Unit and Post teams. It was also in the Army between soccer seasons and deployments, that he got his 1st taste of Fast Pitch Softball. He played several years on unit teams as a Catcher and 1st Baseman.
